Egypt, UAE discuss cooperation in digitizing medical institutions

The two sides agreed to organize a joint workshop to exchange experience related to providing health services and the comprehensive health insurance

CAIRO / ABU DHABI - 24 June 2021: Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Healthcare (GAH) Ahmed El Sobky on Thursday discussed at a meeting with CEO of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) Tarek Fathey means of fostering cooperation in digitizing medical institutions.


During the meeting, the two sides agreed to organize a joint workshop to exchange experience related to providing health services and the comprehensive health insurance.

El Sobky called on Fathey to take part in the GAH annual forum on November 26 to review SEHA's efforts with regard to developing medical services and equipping its institutions with the most advanced medical equipment to treat patients according to the latest internationally approved treatment guidelines and protocols.

For his part, the SEHA head lauded the significant progress in the Egyptian health system, which was overhauled according to the global health systems.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Arab Health exhibition that runs from June 21 to 24 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
